January 11th 2012

Wed Jan 11th

Have you ever looked at your past and thought to yourself there is no way God could ever use me? It’s not even that you’ve done anything wrong, but that someone has done something to you. Maybe it’s something minor that has snowballed into something greater. Or maybe it is something terrible, something that haunts your days and nights.

Read Romans 8:28 and journal your thoughts

Sometimes it’s easy to get mad at God when bad things happen to us, it’s even easier to blame God. Why did you let this happen? Here’s the problem, God love us. He loves us so much that He gave us the ability to choose. Sometimes we choose to do good, sometimes we don’t, but God is always working with us, our freedom, and other peoples freedom to do what He’s going to do.

What is amazing is that no matter what has happened to us, God is looking at your past, the things that have happened and says, “I can work with this”.
